Seem nice for the price, do NOT order up in size. Seem fine for the price. If you want them to fit nice and snug like a ballet slipper should, donât order up. My daughter has worn 13âs. Her current little flats are a 12. I figured order these in a 13. Too much room in the toe for my taste. I think Iâll let her play with those and get a 12 for her lessons. For the price, not a huge deal. For those having trouble keeping the elastic tied: rather than an actual double-knot. Tie as normal, when you âloop it throughâ hold the elastics and loop it through exactly the same way a second time. Looks nicer than a traditional double-knot, stays better, can be pulled like a normal knot to untie.Update: just wanted to reiterate, I would definitely not order up. I think people misunderstand how a ballet shoe should fit. The little leather heal pad isnât considered the end of the shoe. The heal would âhang overâ that. Like, the pad kind of sits in the middle of the heel. Iâm going to include an example. Just ordered our second pair…
Fit is accurate and seem well made My kids’ feet grow quickly and they’re in beginning ballet. I couldn’t bring myself to spend the $30 at a dance shop. I liked that they had the measurements posted to the page. I had my kids stand on a ruler and ordered the corresponding size. They fit both kids (different sizes) perfectly. One has narrow feet, and was able to adjust the top elastic to fit comfortably. The other has regular width feet and did not have a problem adjusting the elastic either. They haven’t gone to class in them yet, but I will update the review if they complain at all.
Love these! Only 2 small complaints…A) The pink cords come untied easily and seem a bit long/in the wayb) The size is marked on the bottom of the sole (on outside of shoe). It’s a big red ink stamp so if you need these shoes for photos, make sure the stamp isn’t showing…it’s just not super pretty. I’d rather have it on the inside tag or something.Sizing: Daughter (19m) wears a 5 Wide Toddler in Wal-Mart brand Garanimals boots. I got her a 6C (6 Wide) and these fit beautifully with like a quarter inch of growing room.Color: True to shown, I got the pale pink and it’s a French looking nude pink.*Each shoe came with a silica gel packet deep inside the toe. Be sure to remove before toddler can handle the shoes. Mine fell out on the floor while I was putting the shoes on her for the first time…just be aware. Being a toddler she immediately picked one up wanting to play with it.
